Easy creamy dreamy chocolate chia mousse, loaded with nutrients!
Healthy chocolate chia seed mousse
Delicious and easy no-cook creamy dreamy chocolate chia mousse, packed with nutrients!
- 1 ¼ cup almond milk (or cow´s milk or coconut milk)
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- ¼ cup chia seeds
- 2-3 tablespoons honey*
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- pinch of salt
As a sweetener you can also use some stevia/erythritol (will not raise your blood sugar), maple/agave syrup, coconut sugar or ripe banana! If you don’t have cocoa or cacao powder, leave it out and add vanilla. This is the beauty of chia pudding. Once you have the chia seed-to-liquid ratio right, the flavor possibilities are endless.
- Place all the ingredients in a high speed blender and blend until smooth.
- Divide the pudding between glasses or small jars and refrigerate overnight (or minimum four hours).
- Add some mint!
- Add some vanilla!
Courses breakfast, dessert
